General Hospital fans will see a new face in the role of Sam McCall when Lindsay Hartley steps in for Kelly Monaco. Monaco is currently on maternity leave, and Hartley will take over the role for an unspecified amount of time.

Hartley is best known for her roles on All My Children and Days of Our Lives. She is also a recurring guest star on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Hartley Excited to Join General Hospital

Hartley said she is excited to join the cast of General Hospital and play the role of Sam McCall. She said she is a big fan of the show and has always wanted to be a part of it.

Monaco Expected to Return in the Fall

In the meantime, Hartley will take over the role of Sam McCall. She will make her debut on the show on May 18.
