Dressage Individual Competition Schedule and Live Results

The official competition schedule and live results for the equestrian dressage individual competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris have been released. The event will take place from August 2nd to 9th, 2024, at the Stade Equestre du Parc de Versailles.

Competition Details:

The dressage individual competition consists of three phases: the Grand Prix, the Grand Prix Special, and the Grand Prix Freestyle. The Grand Prix will be held on August 2nd and 3rd, the Grand Prix Special on August 4th and 5th, and the Grand Prix Freestyle on August 8th and 9th.

A total of 60 horse-and-rider combinations from around the world will compete in the dressage individual competition. The top 18 combinations from the Grand Prix will qualify for the Grand Prix Special, and the top 15 combinations from the Grand Prix Special will qualify for the Grand Prix Freestyle. The rider with the highest score in the Grand Prix Freestyle will be crowned the Olympic champion.

Medal Contenders:

Some of the top medal contenders in the dressage individual competition include Isabell Werth of Germany, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl of Germany, and Charlotte Dujardin of Great Britain. Werth is a six-time Olympic medalist and the reigning Olympic champion in the dressage individual competition. Von Bredow-Werndl is a two-time Olympic medalist and the reigning world champion in the dressage individual competition. Dujardin is a two-time Olympic medalist and the reigning European champion in the dressage individual competition.
