Team USA Prepares for the Olympics with 101-100 Exhibition Win Over South Sudan
Another Close Call for Team USA
Team USA narrowly defeated South Sudan 101-100 in an exhibition game on Tuesday night, continuing their preparation for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
In a game that was controlled by South Sudan for much of the night, Team USA was able to pull out the win thanks to a late push led by LeBron James. With just 58 seconds left in the game and the score tied at 76, Devin Booker hit a three-pointer to give Team USA the lead, which they would not surrender. Despite multiple opportunities for South Sudan to tie or take the lead in the final seconds, Team USA's defense held strong, securing the victory.
